Make At Home Spa Recipes
There is nothing more fulfilling than the ability to prepare your beauty products in the comfort of your home. People all over the world are inspired to create at home spa recipes that use tried and true organic ingredients such as Aloe Vera, hazelnut and honey.
You are here mainly because you would like to prepare your own beauty products at home. You probably are wondering; why make our own spa products rather than just buy the final product? For me, the answer is simple - most commercial manufacturers of beauty and spa products do not put the safety of the public as their number one concern.
There are numerous reports and studies that reveal most of the ingredients (especially the preservatives) added to commercially manufactured beauty commodities are harmful for one's skin and may result to acute, lifelong complications.
Rather than expose myself to such hazardous complications, I made up my mind to come up with at home spa recipes and I have never regretted that decision. You may be surprised how effective these all natural homemade recipes are! With our homemade spa recipes, you can start enjoying excellent spa products made by you without having to keep worrying about any secret toxic components thanks to Mother Nature. Here are some of my favorite homemade spa recipes:
Honey Scrub
Everyone loves an awesome scrub when they visit the spa. The honey scrub exfoliates and hydrates the skin all at once. If you are looking for an easy to make yet natural scrub, then you can give this recipe a try. What you will need to prepare this recipe:
• Half US cup of fine or coarse salt
• Half a cup of extra virgin olive oil
• Half a cup of fresh honey
• Fragrant base oil of your preference.
You can have an odorless scrub if you prefer - just don't add a fragrant oil. To prepare the scrub, all you need to do is pour all the ingredients in a beaker or a glass bowl and thoroughly mix the mixture until you get a smooth paste or have combined the honey and the oil into the salt.
This may take a little bit longer, so I urge you to be patient since salt can be quite difficult to mix with the above ingredients. After you have worked the extra virgin oil and the honey into a single cup of salt, the mixture is now ready for use. You can apply lavish amounts of the honey scrub to your face (avoid the eyes), arms and chest. In circular motions, scrub your skin gently and then rinse off with warm water. You will love the results!
Natural Citrus Moisturizer
This is one of the simplest homemade spa recipes. All you need to do is measure a third of a cup of beeswax and then pour it into a hot pan and let it melt slowly. Mix it with your preferred base oil. When the beeswax is completely melted, add in the mixture of a third cup of fresh lime juice. Pour the concoction in a glass jar and let it cool before you can begin using it.
